Overview

About Xinpu

The Xinpu series (Xinpu 1 and Xinpu 2) is also sold internationally as Xinfeng, Xingfu and Xinfu; in quotes and analysis documents these names refer to the same product group. Developed through yield-focused breeding, these varieties are best known for high cluster yield, with several nuts forming together on one shoot, and strong fruit set.

High output per hectare makes Xinpu attractive on price/performance. Large calibers (32–37 mm) stand out; on the other hand, its kernel yield (typically 52% ± 2, 42–50% in some lots) is lower than that of 185 and Xin 2. It is therefore preferred mainly for in-shell sales and in markets where a large appearance matters.

Known for its bright, light shell and plump, soft kernel; the kernel is naturally sweet and evenly round, which makes it popular for pastry and snacks, and two nuts can be cracked by squeezing them in the palm. For high-volume orders, especially kernel production and food industry supply, it offers an economical solution.
